Services Provided
Vocational needs assessment, counseling, guidance and work-related placement services, vocational and other training services, mental and physical restoration, maintenance for additional costs incurred while in rehabilitation, tuition, books and supplies, room/board, personal needs allowances, transportation, interpreter services for individuals who are deaf or visually impaired, occupational licenses, supplies, tools, equipment needed, recruitment and training services, assistive technology and referral services.
Eligible Participants
Individuals who have a documented physical or mental disability. Documentation needs to be verified by a licensed professional. Disability needs to be existing and disability is an impediment to daily life activities as well as making it difficult for participants in finding or maintaining employment. Participants must be an enrolled member of an Indian tribe. Must be “reasonably expected to benefit” in terms of employment from the MHA Nation Vocational Rehabilitation Services received.
