• The MHA Sober Living is a transitional peer-led extended care addiction initiative.

• The Program enhances the prospect of successful and durable recovery.

• MHA tribal members apply daily practices and reinforcement of a 12-step Program while integrating MHA cultural and spiritual components.

• MHA Sober Living serves all enrolled citizens of the MHA Nation.

Eligible Participants

The Sage Coulee Outreach & Wellness Center serves MHA-enrolled members who live off of the reservation

Area(s) Served

Lodges are in Bismarck, ND & Phoenix, AZ areas. Currently, Lodges are being established in Fort Berthold Segments, and women’s homes are in operation.

Purpose/Mission Statement:

Utilizing the 12-step Program integrated with MHA cultural and spiritual enrichment, the MHA Sober Living Program seeks to provide a safe, drug and alcohol-free, extended care transition environment for members of the MHA Nation endeavoring to recover from substance abuse.
