Conduct in the Chambers

  • Treat Tribal Council Members & all others with respect.

  • Sign in at the door for scheduled Tribal Business Council and Sub-Committee meetings.

  • Turn off all cell phones or place on vibrate.

  • Presenters will talk one at a time when recognized by the Chairman or presiding officer.

  • Audience members wishing to comment should stand, raise your hand, and wait for the Chairman to call you forward. Proceed to either the presenters table or podium to the left and introduce yourself for the record and make your comment.

  • Presentations should be no longer that 10 minutes / agenda item.

  • Please limit side conversations.

  • Do not make threats or rude comments.

  • Be respectful of other people’s ideas or situations when they are present.

  • No person shall be disorderly, abusive, or disruptive of the orderly conduct of the meeting.

  • Sergeant at Arms & Security will escort out any individual who is disorderly, abusive or disruptive of the meeting.

  • No firearms or other weapons (Law Enforcement exception), or illegal substances.

  • Absolutely no unauthorized recording (especially in Closed Session).
