BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the tasks involved in stimulating interest, using the guidebook and conference as a vehicle in the Fort Berthold Reservation are: - To increase private companies' awareness of the positive effects of doing business on the Fort Berthold Reservation and establish ground rules for proposals and negotiations. To increase awareness of oil companies of completion methods that are successful on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. This could have an immediate impact on the recovery of oil and increase production, which would increase royalty income. To provide geological information that would increase interest in the "deep" gas plays on Fort Berthold. This may have a long-term impact on Fort Berthold. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that conducting the symposium and guidebook does commit the Three Affiliated Tribes and Alottees into leasing any lands.
