PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Three Affiliated Tribes Head Start Program would like to announce their Round-Up Events for Returning and New Students for the 2024-2025 School Year. These events are open to children between the ages of 2 ½ to 4 years of age.  If you have any questions, please contact our Health Manager, Nichole Thomas Brugh,  at (701) 627-4820 or by email at nthomas@mhanation.com.

Parents/Guardians need to bring these documents: birth certificate, income verification, immunization records (copies are needed if immunizations were given outside the state of North Dakota), custody papers (if applicable), medical insurance cards, tribal ID (if applicable), and any records that indicate if your child requires Special Services. If your child is a returning student, you DO NOT need the birth certificate or immunization records, but you WILL need all other documents. You may choose to email your documents to our Records Manager, Whitney Jones, at wajones@mhanation.com, or we will gladly make copies of the originals.

The Round-Up event services will include the following: Physicals, Immunizations, Screenings for Dental, Vision, and Diabetes, as well as services and information from other programs that involve children.

The remaining Round-Up events will be held on the following dates and places:

 

·      Tuesday, May 14th @ Johnny Bird Memorial Center (RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY) 10 am-2 pm

·      Tuesday, June 11th @ Johnny Bird Memorial Center 10 am-2 pm

·      Tuesday, June 18th @ Johnny Bird Memorial Center 10 am-2 pm

·      Tuesday, June 25th @ Northern Lights Building 1 pm – 7 pm

·      Tuesday, July 30th @ Johnny Bird Memorial Center 10 am-2 pm

 

TAT Head Start Enrollment applications can be obtained via email wajones@mhanation.com, or on the MHA website under Department: Head Start or picked up at the Main Head Start Center in New Town at 509 9th N New Town, ND 58763. We ask that the application be completed before the Round Up Event unless you have a question in a particular area of the application.

Our Round-Up Events are scheduled from 10 am to 2 pm unless noted. Families are encouraged to attend these scheduled events to ensure that their child has a completed application before school starts.  Students and the legal guardian are both required to attend.

** Please keep in mind that RETURNING STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS**

Physicals dated before May 1st, 2024, will not be valid due to the closeout of the previous school year.
