The Three Affiliated Tribes Fish & Wildlife Department will be selling deer gun licenses for Tribal Members at the following times and locations:



Unit 1—Four Bears/Mandaree        Unit 2—New Town/Shell Creek        Unit 3—Parshall/White Shield        Unit 4—Twin Buttes

  • Please remember all tags are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
  Only residents of their segments can buy their respective Unit tags when selling at their locations. (Example: Only residents of
        Mandaree segment can purchase Unit 1 tags on October 4, 2017 from 8:00am-1:00pm at the Water Chief Hall in Mandaree)
        Need to present photo ID with current physical address to verify residency.
  If you wish to purchase a deer gun tag for a segment in which you are not a resident, don’t worry! The TAT Fish & Wildlife
        Department will have a separate amount of tags set aside to sell at the New Town F&W Office on October 6, 2017.
        All Units (1-4) will be available on this date.
  Persons who are purchasing for others are limited to purchasing 5 (including their own). A 2017 Deer Gun Application must be
        filled out for the absentee hunter prior to purchasing their license along with a photo copy of their ID and Hunter Education
        Certificate card (if applicable).
  A 2017 Request for Designated Shooter form must be filled out for all designated hunters for TAT Elders.
  Elders requesting a designated shooter will receive an antlerless tag only.
  Designated hunter may only be assigned to one elder.
  Will accept payments in cash or money order ONLY. No Checks.
  Persons born after December 31, 1961 must present their hunter education certification card to purchase a deer gun license.
        EXCEPTIONS: Veterans of the United States Armed Forces that have been honorably discharged – persons applying for this
        exemption MUST present a copy of form DD214 to be eligible.
  Any persons with incomplete 2016 Deer Gun Hunter Questionnaires/Harvest Reports will be charged an additional $20.00 fee.

Members of the Three Affiliated Tribes Deer Gun Permit Fees:
        Enrolled TAT Tribal Member:        $25.00 Antlered
                                                                  $10.00 Antlerless
        Elder TAT Member (55+):              No Charge Antlered or Antlerless

NON-MEMBER RESIDENT tags will be sold on October 9, 2017 at the Fish & Wildlife office starting at 8:00AM until sold out.
        Will be sold first-come, first-served. Must be present to purchase.

Non-Member Resident Deer Gun Permit Fees are as follows:
        Non-Member TAT Residents        $125.00

FALL TURKEY SEASON:
2017 Fall Turkey permits are now available for purchase.

YOUTH SEASONS:
Youth ages 14 & 15 can now begin applying for a Youth Deer License.

Persons eligible are individuals age 14 & 15 who have either not previously applied for a Deer license or who have
applied but have never received a Deer license.

ELK SEASON:
Persons eligible to participate in the Elk season are: Tribal members and Non-members.

Two pools for the Elk raffle will be available. The first raffle is for Tribal members only. The second raffle will be open to all.

Chance raffle tickets will be sold at the Fish & Wildlife Office in New Town at the cost of $10.00 per chance.
The raffle ticket fee is non-refundable. Four permits (2 Bull & 2 Cow) will be issued after the recipients are
determined by the random draw of tickets. Drawing to determine successful applicants will be held at the
Fish & Wildlife office on September 15, 2017 at 12:00PM. Raffle ticket sales will close one hour before the drawing.

The Tribal Elk Permit will cost $150.00 per tag for Tribal members and $500.00 per tag for Non-members. This is payable to the Fish
& Wildlife Office when you have drawn a winning ticket. A completed application and full payment must be received prior to issuance.

MOOSE SEASON:
Persons eligible to participate in the Moose season are: Tribal members and Non-members.

Two pools for the Moose raffle will be available. The first raffle is for Tribal members only. The second raffle will be open to all.

Chance raffle tickets will be sold at the Fish & Wildlife office in New Town at the cost of $10.00 per chance. The raffle ticket fee is
non-refundable. Seven permits (3 Bull & 4 Cow) will be issued after the recipients are determined by the random draw of tickets.
Drawing to determine successful applicants will be held at the Fish & Wildlife office on September 15, 2017 at 12:00PM.
Raffle ticket sales will close one hour before the drawing.

The Tribal Moose Permit will cost $150.00 per tag for Tribal members and $500.00 per tag for Non-members.
This is payable to the Fish & Wildlife Office when you have drawn a winning ticket. A completed application and full
payment must be received prior to issuance.

COMMUNITY LICENSE SALES:
We will be have a Fish & Wildlife representative selling licenses & raffle tickets at the following times & places:
      White Shield Complex                         Monday, August 28, 2017            12:00pm to 4:00pm
      Mandaree Elders Building                  Tuesday, August 29, 2017            12:00pm to 4:00pm
      Twin Buttes Memorial Building           Thursday, August 31, 2017           12:00pm to 4:00pm

      Small Game
      Furbearer
      Fishing
      Deer Bow tags
      Fall Turkey tags
      Moose & Elk raffle tickets

All these licenses are also available at our Fish & Wildlife Office in New Town during our regular business hours (M-F 8AM to 4:30PM).

2017 Deer Bow Licenses will go on Sale July 5th at 8:00AM at our Fish & Wildlife office in New Town and is open to
TAT members and Non-members.  They are sold on a first come-first served basis. Mail-in applications will be
accepted no sooner than June 28, 2017, no exceptions. The 2017 Deer Bow Application is avaible here.

Spring Turkey licenses are on sale now.  These licenses are sold on a first come first served basis.

2017 Furbearer licenses are on sale now.  License is valid April 1, 2017-March 31, 2018. 

2017 Small Game licenses are on sale now.  License is valid April 1, 2017-March 31, 2018. 

2017 Fishing licenses are on sale now.  License is valid April 1, 2017-March 31, 2018. 

Cash or money orders will be preferred payment.  We will only accept checks in the mail for mailed in applications.

Deer Bow Licenses will go on Sale July 5th at 8:00AM at our Fish & Wildlife office in New Town and is open to TAT members and Non-members.  They are sold on a first come-first served basis.

Deer Gun Licenses for Non-member Non-residents—customers call in to be put on the list (Starting March 1st at 8:00am). As of today’s date (March 3, 2017), any Non-member non-resident that calls to be put on that list will be put on the list but inform them that they are on the waiting list.

Deer Gun Licenses for Non-member Residents— *If a Non-Member season is confirmed* Licenses will go on sale on Oct 9, 2017 at 8:00am at our New Town Fish & Wildlife office and will be sold on a first come-first served basis.

Deer Gun Licenses for TAT Members—licenses go on sale the Week of Oct 2-6, 2017. A list of community outreach license sale dates will be available in August.  If mailing an application, this cannot be post-marked any sooner than September 25, 2017. Mailed in applications will only be accepted from those TAT members who live off the reservation.

As of November 17, 2016 we are currently sold out of Small Game and Furbearers licenses for the 2016-2017 Season for both
Members and Non Members. Members and Non-Members can start purchasing Small Game & Furbearer licenses on
March 1, 2017 for the 2017/2018 Season that opens on April 1, 2017.
